Great stories have a personality. Consider telling a great story that provides personality. Writing a story with personality for potential clients will assist with making a relationship connection. This shows up in small quirks like word choices or phrases. Write from your point of view, not from someone else's experience.

Great stories are for everyone even when only written for just one person. If you try to write with a wide, general audience in mind, your story will sound fake and lack emotion. No one will be interested. Write for one person. If it’s genuine for the one, it’s genuine for the rest.

UKL’s PALF is a groundbreaking eco-friendly textile material that transforms agricultural byproducts — pineapple leaves — into high-quality fiber yarns, used to develop a wide range of practical and aesthetically pleasing products such as clothing and home goods. Not only does this reduce the carbon footprint, but it also offers breathability, natural antibacterial, and odor-resistant properties, providing the global textile industry with an innovative solution that balances environmental protection and the circular economy.

Winning this UN competition has elevated pineapple leaf fiber to a higher international platform, attracting the attention of sustainability leaders worldwide. UKL has also been authorized to use the “SDG Impact Certified” label on its product packaging, further enhancing consumer trust and recognition of PALF’s sustainable value.

Gary Hsieh, Executive Vice President of UKL, stated: “Receiving the United Nations UNSDG SiAC Performance Award is a tremendous honor for us. Pineapple leaf fiber is not just a material innovation, but a sustainable achievement through cross-sector integration and co-creation between agriculture and the textile industry. By transforming pineapple leaves into fashion materials, we not only reduce agricultural waste but also provide economic support to farmers. PALF embodies both environmental and social value, and we look forward to spreading this vision on the international stage.”

UKL noted that the global trend of biomass materials is thriving across industries, and they hope this international recognition will drive continued breakthroughs in Taiwan’s biomass material research and applications, expand the circular economy ecosystem, and help achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships. This is not only a collaboration between agriculture and fashion but also a balance between the environment and the economy, reflecting Taiwan’s firm commitment to global sustainable development.
